FlexY is a platform that brings (local) shops and customers together. FlexY does this by means of an app with which a customer places an order at a store. After acceptance of the order by the store, a delivery person will be called to pick up and deliver the orders. The order will be delivered as soon as possible, but in any case the same (working) day, unless the customer chooses a different delivery time.
FlexY is no ordinary delivery app, because with us you can order products from different stores in one go. At FlexY, the focus is on 'deliver anything'. It is therefore possible to order food and non-food products from FlexY at the (local) store and have them delivered to the address of your choice.
At FlexY we believe in innovation, flexibility and people. FlexY offers a platform that connects three different parties into a powerful network of consumers, shops and drivers.
FlexY has been active in Paramaribo, Suriname since 2017 and in Almere, the Netherlands since 2020.
Due to the corona crisis, a gathering ban applies in many public places in both the Netherlands and Suriname. FlexY responds to this, because at FlexY the focus is on guaranteeing the safety of consumers and retailers. This is possible because retailers can offer their products online via FlexY, and consumers can order these products from home and have them delivered. The focus is also on supporting retailers by offering an additional pre-purchase channel. Via FlexY, retailers can offer their products to a larger group of consumers.
The Netherlands
FlexY Netherlands was supposed to be launched in 2020, but due to the corona crisis, it has been decided to start an initiative together with the Enterprise Association Stadcentrum Almere. The initiative concerns the launch of the app during the corona crisis, so that customers can order products from (local) stores without having to leave home. These (local) stores currently hardly see customers passing by and can still reach their people via FlexY.
Suriname
FlexY Suriname was launched in 2017, long before the corona crisis. FlexY Suriname currently has … customers, … deliverers and … stores. We are very proud of this and we like to make more people happy.
